MAINSTAGE AUDITION INFORMATION

CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG
Round 2
Date: Sunday, February 12, 2017
Time: Beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Location: Way Off Broadway

Those auditioning are asked to bring a headshot and resume, as well as 16 bars of prepared music and be ready to sing, read from the script, and dance. 
The roles to be filled are those of TRULY SCRUMPTIOUS, BORID and GORAN (the Vulgarian spies), and additional ENSEMBLE members All roles are non-union paying.  Those auditioning must be 18 or older.  No appointment is necessary and an accompanist will be provided.

PRODUCTION INFORMATION
Everyone's favorite flying car comes to life in the musical adaptation of the beloved family film.  An eccentric inventor, Caractacus Potts sets about restoring an old race car from a scrap heap with the help of his children Jeremy and Jemima.  They soon discover the car has magical properties including the ability to float and take flight.  Trouble occurs when the evil Baron Bomburst desires the magic car for himself.  The family joins forces with Truly Scrumptious and batty Grandpa Potts to outwit the dastardly Baron and Baroness and their villainous henchman, the Child Catcher.

Rehearsals will start at the beginning of February and be held one to three times a week (in the evenings).  Beginning Sunday, March 26th, rehearsals will be every evening leading up to Opening Night.


Chitty Chitty Bang Bang will run from March 31 - June 3, 2017, with performances every Friday and Saturday evening, and matinees on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday of each month.  For specific performance dates, check the theatre's PERFORMANCE CALENDAR.
